The CORSAC Project

CORSAC/OS

CORSAC/OS is an operating system for x86 PCs, from the 486 onward. It is written in CORSAC/C# (COR-C#), with its own kernel, graphical environment, drivers, and userland.

The kernel runs native 32-bit Linux applications. CORSAC’s own command-line tools use the Linux interface too, with our runtime; the same executables run on Linux or CORSAC.

CORSAC/NT provides a Windows 2000 personality. Windows and native applications share the graphical environment, clipboard, and drag-and-drop.

Hardware

The kernel includes drivers for ISA and PCI devices: disk controllers, network cards, USB, sound, input, and graphics. Build profiles include 486, Pentium, and K8 configurations. The current kernel runs in 32-bit mode.

Supported Hardware lists device models, IDs, drivers, and match notes.
